Fortunately, at least one other blogger has been covering the gender politics and social epistemology beat in my absence: at Repeal the Common Era, the author delivers an excellent 4.3K word piece on "The Jenner Shift and Its Consequences": the epochal gender-political realignment in which nerdy men who were demonized by the internet feminism of the early 2010s, found a way in to the progressive stack, at the cost of an update to the coalition's shared lies. The broad outlines of this model are probably familiar to long-time readers of The Scintillating But Ultimately Untrue Thought, but R.C.E.'s account is particularly notable for its discussion of the role of T4T-normativity in stabilizing the new equilibrium.
