+I want to react to the "whether or not [sponsoring the bill] was meant as a direct shot at the WNBA" and "Loeffler's pivot to attacking WNBA players and their interests" narration—but what could I possibly say? What kind of partisan would dare accuse Kliegman of the sin of editorializing when the thirty-third graf of the story clearly acknowledges that the science remains unsettled?

I had one too—something about a globe—[a map?](/2019/Aug/the-social-construction-of-reality-and-the-sheer-goddamned-pointlessness-of-reason/#a-dream-about-the-use-of-maps) But I can never remember my dreams, nor follow their false, private logic after awakening into the consensus day. I could predict that sooner or later, the WNBA will have its [Laurel Hubbard](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurel_Hubbard) or [Andraya Yearwood](/2017/Jun/questions-such-as-wtf-is-wrong-with-you-people/) moment—but why would that make any difference? Would I deny any other woman her night of glory under the arena's [five lights](/2018/Aug/interlude-xii/)?
