-People who are concerned with social justice tend to be rightfully skeptical when a straight white (er, white-passing?—I guess this pseudonym suggests the character to whom this blog should be imputed likely has recent Japanese ancestry, even if the physical human writing it in the real world doesn't necessarily) man complains about victimhood identity politics. That's why, when the topic is misogyny or racism, I generally _shut up_—even if I might _think_ I have something to say about the dangers of the culture of the political left socializing people to think of themselves as helpless victims of a kyriarchical society, I also realize that I don't have standing to speak on this issue. I'm not a woman or a racial minority; I don't have their lived experience; I don't know what it's like to face the challenges they face.
